As a mother of three, I love that I get the opportunity to partner with my husband Matt, by leading Grace Creek Women while building a strong marriage and a loving home. What motivates me to lead every day is seeing the gold in each woman God brings to Grace Creek Church. I love when women discover their place in the body of Christ and their potential as wives, mothers, daughters, and friends.
Honestly, in the beginning years, it would’ve been rare to see me teaching confidently on the platform. But there came a point that the Lord reminded me of the call on my life;
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
My desire to honor God and to love women well, gave me the ability to lead with strength and courage. And I’ve learned that it is really not that complicated; I lead in the same way I lead in my home. It starts with love, unity, and words of life. I want the house of God to have healthy sons and daughters who know who they are in Christ.
This is why we have strived to establish a welcoming ministry environment that encourages women to embrace God’s design for womanhood and strengthen each other in their love for Jesus and others.
